No two dogs are alike, and neither are their tastes or nutritional needs. That’s why Woof’s Table rejects the one-size-fits-all approach to offer The Bespoke Bowl: a professionally formulated meal plan designed specifically for your dog.

Before booking a consultation, please read through this page to ensure this is the right fit for you and your pet.

 

Is this service right for your pet?

 

To ensure the highest standard of safety, your pet must meet 3 requirements:

1. They are between 1 and 15 years old.

2. They are within a healthy weight range.

3. They are in healthy condition.

 

(Note: We do not formulate diets for puppies/kittens under 1 year, pregnant or nursing animals, or raw, vegetarian, and vegan diets.)

Taste-Testing

To ensure your pet enjoys their new diet, please use these two methods at home before booking to determine which ingredients they actually prefer:

1. The Single-Bowl Test: Offer a weighed amount of a single test food. Weigh leftovers after a set period to track intake over several days. This mimics a normal home feeding environment where your pet has no other choice. It easily identifies foods that are unacceptable to them (due to off-flavors, bad textures, etc.)

2. The Two-Bowl Test: Place new food and regular food in separate bowls. Present both for 15-30 minutes to determine preference. This clearly shows if your pet actively prefers one ingredient over another.

How the process works

1. Review this document and our sample meal plan.

2. Select a delivery date on our calendar (this is when your meal plan arrives, not a live meeting).

3. Fill out the intake form with your pet's info.

4. You'll receive an email once your booking is finalized.

5. Our team prepares your custom meal plan and bespoke recipes.

6. Your meal plan is delivered via email on your scheduled date.

7. Your booking includes 30 days of unlimited email support starting the day you receive the meal plan. We typically reply within 1 to 3 days during normal business hours. We do not monitor email during evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Our approach to food

Most of our recipes are built using 6 to 12 natural, whole-food ingredients, usually consisting of meats, organ meats, seafood, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

 

You might notice we rarely use synthetic supplements in our recipes. Here is why:

• Global Accessibility: We focus on whole-food ingredients because specific synthetic supplement brands are often not accessible to clients in different parts of the world, making it difficult to maintain recipe consistency. Whole foods provide a reliable, globally available source of essential nutrients.

• Lack of Regulation and Safety: Regulation on pet supplements is often insufficient. To protect your pet, we only endorse products bearing the NASC seal and those participating in the USP dietary supplement verification program. If verified products are unavailable, we strongly recommend using whole food ingredients instead.

• Precise Dosing Risks with Human Supplements: If human-grade supplements are used, achieving the correct dosage for a pet-especially a small dog - is challenging and often requires multiple products. Too much or too little of a nutrient can result in negative health outcomes.

• Risk of Over-Supplementation: Over-dosing of synthetic supplements is a known issue, even in commercial pet foods, and has historically led to toxic levels and product recalls.

Extended Support and Additional Services

Extended Support & Extra Recipes

• You can add extended support for $40/month for as many months as you need to help with prep, sourcing, or general questions.

• Formulating a bespoke diet takes considerable time. If you want additional recipes or a major ingredient substitution later, it is an additional $55 per recipe.

Multiple Pets

Because every animal is different, other healthy pets in your home will usually require their own separate consultation and fee. However, if the exact same diet formulation works for your other pet, the fee is reduced to:

• $90 for pets requiring newly calculated doses based on weight.

Cancellation Policy

Because of the highly customized nature of our work, the formulation process begins as soon as you book. Once the fee is paid, it is non-refundable, and we cannot accept cancellations.
